My Writer Story
My love for science fiction began in childhood, inspired by films like Metropolis, later '80s and '90s classics like Blade Runner and The Matrix, and anime like Ghost in the Shell.
Fritz Lang's 1927 silent film "Metropolis" has greatly influenced my writing. A special presentation at the University of Miami’s theater highlighted its intense portrayal of dehumanization and the struggle against technology.
The Moloch scene reminds us to maintain our humanity amid progress. Metropolis inspires me to explore these themes and reflect on being human in a mechanized world.
Influential authors such as George Orwell, William Gibson, and Philip K. Dick shaped my fascination with futuristic societies.
Writing lets me explore themes that combine current events with everyday challenges, envisioning our future.
